Wi-Fi network and password: Provided privately in your check-in instructions.
Front Door & Garage
Your unique front-door code and the garage access code will be provided privately with your check-in instructions before arrival. Never share access codes publicly.
Parking
Park in the driveway or garage. If a large boat or trailer will not fit, additional parking is available along the side of the road in front of Leisure Landing. Please avoid blocking driveways or the roadway.
Around the House
Heating & Cooling
The Sensi thermostat is upstairs. During warmer weather, the upstairs may stay a little warmer than downstairs. Please keep the thermostat at 70°F or above. Lowering it will not cool the home faster and may cause the system to freeze up. Extra fans are in the bedroom closets; closing blackout shades during the hottest part of the day also helps.
Electric Fireplaces
There are electric fireplaces upstairs and downstairs, and the flame can be enjoyed with or without heat. The upstairs remote is on the side table near the fireplace; the downstairs remote lives on the fireplace mantel.
Remote basics: Power turns the fireplace on/off. Use the flame controls to adjust the flame effect, the heat controls for warmth, and the speaker control for fireplace sound. The flame can be enjoyed without heat.
Fireplace not turning on? There is a light switch beside each fireplace that supplies power to the unit. If the fireplace does not respond to the remote, make sure this switch is turned on. Please turn fireplaces off when leaving or going to bed.
TVs
Upstairs: Roku TV. Downstairs: Google TV. Both are connected to Wi-Fi. You may sign into your streaming services; please remember to sign out before checkout.
Laundry
Guests may use the washer and dryer. Please clean the dryer lint trap after each use. At checkout, used towels may simply be left in the bathrooms or, if convenient, placed in the laundry basket in the upstairs hall linen closet. There is no need to strip beds or start laundry.
Outdoor Living
Enjoy the upper and lower decks, Blackstone griddle, propane fire pit, fenced dog run, backyard, lake and dock. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Blackstone Griddle
A propane Blackstone flat-top griddle is available for guest use. Propane is provided, with a spare tank stored in the garage. After cooking, allow the griddle to cool, then wipe the cooking surface clean. If needed, use the orange Blackstone sponge in the front basket with warm water. Please do not use other abrasive scrubbers or cleaners. Make sure the griddle and propane are completely turned off when finished.
Propane Fire Pit
Please keep children and pets a safe distance away, never leave the fire pit unattended while lit, and make sure it is completely turned off after use. Allow it to cool before replacing the cover.
Kitchen & Coffee
There are two Mr. Coffee drip coffee makers—one upstairs and one downstairs. Coffee and filters are provided.
The downstairs refrigerator has an automatic ice maker; the upstairs refrigerator has ice trays. Tap water is safe to drink.
Dishwasher pods, paper towels, trash bags and basic cleaning supplies are located under the kitchen sinks.
Lake & Dock
One of the best parts of Leisure Landing is enjoying Grand Lake right from the property.
Lake Equipment
3 kayaks • 2 paddleboards • paddles • life jackets • paddleboard fins • electric air pump
Please wear a life jacket whenever using a kayak or paddleboard. Equipment is stored in the garage. Paddleboard setup instructions are posted in the garage near the equipment. Return everything to the garage after use and do not leave lake equipment on the dock overnight.
Private Dock
- Guests may enjoy the dock and tie their own boat during their stay.
- Supervise children around the lake and dock.
- No diving from the dock.
- No glass containers on the dock or near the water.
Boat Ramps
Whippoorwill Boat Ramp: about 0.3 mile / 1 minute away; convenient for smaller boats and quick launches.
Wolf Creek Park & Boating Facility: 963 N. 16th St., about 1.8 miles / 6 minutes away; multiple ramps and daytime truck-and-trailer parking.
Bringing Your Dog
We’re happy to welcome dogs to Leisure Landing!
- Maximum 2 dogs.
- Please keep dogs off furniture and beds.
- Clean up after pets inside and outside; waste bags and a pet-waste container are in the dog-run area.
- Dogs should not be left unattended inside unless safely crated.
- Dogs may be off leash in the fenced dog run; please leash them elsewhere.

Severe Weather
During a tornado warning or severe-weather emergency, move to the downstairs laundry room on the lower level, away from windows and exterior doors, and follow local alerts.
Safety Equipment
Fire extinguishers are in both kitchens. The first-aid kit and an emergency lantern are in the upstairs hall linen closet. A downstairs emergency lantern is in the laundry/severe-weather area. Smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors are installed throughout the home. If an alarm sounds, please exit the home immediately and call 911 if there may be a fire or other emergency. If a detector begins chirping or appears to need attention, please contact us rather than disabling it.

Before You Leave
Checkout is 11:00 AM.
- Place household trash in the orange-lid can by the garage.
- Load dirty dishes and start the dishwasher.
- If you brought a dog, pick up remaining pet waste and empty the pet-waste container into the orange-lid trash can.
- Return all 3 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, paddles and life jackets to the garage.
- Return lightweight fire-pit chairs to the back porch.
- Close, lock and secure all sliding doors.
- Turn off the Blackstone, propane fire pit and electric fireplaces.
- Lock the main entrance when you leave.
That’s it! No need to strip beds, start laundry or do additional cleaning. Thank you for staying at Leisure Landing.
